1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SbassaDDeb Bike Rentals ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our bike rental services and website located at sbassaddeb.com.

By renting a bicycle from us or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Rental Requirements

2.1 Age and Identification

• Renters must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required
• International visitors must present a passport
• All identification must be current and not expired

2.2 Security Deposit

• A security deposit of £100-£200 is required depending on bike type
• Deposits are held on your credit or debit card
• Deposits are released upon safe return of the bicycle
• Deposits may be used to cover damages, theft, or additional charges

3. Rental Terms and Conditions

3.1 Rental Period

• Minimum rental period is 24 hours
• Rentals must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time
• Late returns incur a fee of £10 per hour
• Extensions may be available subject to availability and additional charges

3.2 Permitted Use

• Bicycles are for personal recreational use only
• Commercial use is prohibited without written permission
• Bicycles must not be used for racing or competitions
• Modifications to the bicycle are strictly prohibited
• Only the registered renter may use the bicycle

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Rental Rates

• Standard Bike: £15 per day
• Mountain Bike: £25 per day
• Electric Bike: £35 per day
• Weekly rates available upon request
• All prices include VAT

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of rental
• We accept major credit cards and debit cards
• Cash payments may be accepted at our discretion
• Additional charges may apply for accessories and services

5. Safety and Responsibilities

5.1 Safety Requirements

• Helmets are strongly recommended and provided free of charge
• Renters must complete a safety briefing before departure
• All traffic laws and regulations must be followed
• Bicycles must not be used under the influence of alcohol or drugs

5.2 Renter Responsibilities

• Inspect the bicycle before use and report any issues
• Secure the bicycle when not in use with provided lock
• Return the bicycle in the same condition as received
• Report accidents, theft, or damage immediately
• Pay for any damages beyond normal wear and tear

6. Damage, Loss, and Theft

6.1 Damage Assessment

Upon return, bicycles will be inspected for damage. Renters are liable for:

• Repair costs for damage beyond normal wear
• Replacement costs for missing accessories
• Full replacement value for stolen bicycles
• Administrative fees for processing claims

6.2 Theft Protection

• Basic theft protection is included in rental rates
• Renters remain liable for the first £100 of theft claims
• Police reports must be filed within 24 hours of theft
• Additional insurance may be purchased separately

7. Cancellation and Refunds

7.1 Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation 24 hours before rental start time
• 50% refund for cancellations 12-24 hours in advance
• No refund for cancellations less than 12 hours in advance
• Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled without penalty

7.2 Early Returns

• No refunds for early returns of daily rentals
• Weekly rentals may be refunded on a pro-rata basis
• All refunds are at the company's discretion

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SbassaDDeb Bike Rentals shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury or death arising from bicycle use
• Damage to personal property
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Losses exceeding the rental fee paid

8.2 Indemnification

Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless SbassaDDeb Bike Rentals from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of our bicycles.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Subletting or lending bicycles to third parties
• Using bicycles for illegal activities
• Attempting to sell or pawn rented bicycles
• Removing or damaging identification tags
• Exceeding weight limits or capacity restrictions

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or other acts of God.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
